These tunes are amongst the first few we wrote together. You know when you just know.
They were [again] virtually all dave instrumentally, co-written with Dicky doing lyrics and singing.
I have a special place in my musical heart for ILUITW, the listen-back of which reminded me how a UK rock band is supposed to sound.
That tune is also one of the first using the 'instant improv' melody method, which later evolved into tunes like 'Free Spirit'
[with Woody Woodmansey] and 'In Paradise', using the more advanced 'total improv' song production method.
This is basically serious [English] rockin' from the Old Crust as opposed to 'The Nine'.
